First Snow of Fall 2011

Glad we got some in from the woodpile before this hit

No sitting here for a while...

The front of the house...lots of shovelling...
Poor farmer guy....

The skeleton under the tree...and snow...

Those would be skeletal hands reaching out of the snow in the front (c'mon! It's Halloween decs!)

Oy! I'm so cold! We've got crazy branches coming down in our yard from this mess. I'm so not ready for winter -- especially not this early!

Wow, my sympathies. Hope you didn't lose any tree limbs - that snow looks heavy! My parents are heading to Denver tomorrow. They're spending the weekend with my little sis on their way to AZ for the next six months.

I like your new blog design, Vickie :)

WOW Vickie that's alot of snow!!! I saw on the weather channel you were going to get some snow. To bad it covered all your Halloween decorations-they were awesome!! Hopefully the snow will melt and they will be awesome again!! Take care and stay warm!

Ooo wow Vickie, so much snow already! Here in Holland it is not even freezing yet, looks like fall is going to last a while. Which is alright with me. Last year, snow came early and stayed for 8 weeks.

Becky: It was definitely hard to get warm yesterday. The branch damage is crazy! Hope it didn't hurt anything property-wise.

Mary: Bet your parents will have fun. It's clear today, so it should be good for flying. Thank you for the blog design compliment. I like it too.

Sherri: The snow started melting today with the 40 degree temps. It's thankfully going to be warm on Halloween for trick of treating.

Aurian: Our weather is whacky here. The snowstorm yesterday, warm today, it will be 65F on Halloween for Trick or Treating. Go figure.
