Vickie, I guess you should be thankful that Lady K decided to "trim" the dollies hair and not her own! I remember Jenny took her bangs and cut straight into them right down to the scalp. This was with supposedly child proof scissors!! I guess they weren't Jenny proof!
I have the same story as Sherri. My 22 yo daughter cut her bangs to the hairline when she was four. It was also 2 days before her uncle's wedding. Yeah, good times... (I am smiling from the memory).

I remember doing the same thing, to my dolls, not my hair!
I wanted long hair, my mom wanted my hair short so I never cut it. Now I am an adult so I can have it as long as I want!
