Planting our own garden for the second year in a row. Used our compost (that's the bin in the corner you see behind me tilling), Lady K is planting corn. We also planted green beans, sweet peas and green onions.
Sarah: I'd rethink the composter if I found a snake in mine, too! Yikes! So far it's just racoons trying to get in. The bungee cord deters them for the most part.
Sherri: Thanks! It was fun last year and we had fresh tomatoes forever. We managed a few meals with our own corn, too. The racoons didn't get it all.
Mary: That's why I love Colorado so much, the wackadoo weather keeping us on our toes.

Good for you Vicky, I won't risk a composter due to snakes loving them!
Vickie, the pics are great and go Browning family on the garden!!!!
I love it! One week you're in the middle of a snow storm and the next it's Vickie's version of Green Acres!

What a cool way to spend Earth Day! I was at the computer the whole weekend and missed everything. Bummer!
