Kool-Aid Hair

Lady K has been wanting to have her hair Kool-Aid-ed for some time. We ran out of time the last two Spa Weeks and I promised her that, one chickie day, we'd try it out. Today was that chickie day.One packet of Kool-Aid and enough conditioner to make a paste....Mix it up in a bowl....Coat as much hair as you can with the mixture you have, then wrap it with cling wrap. Keep it on as long as you can stand it..longer is better.. Rinse and *viola* you have Kool-Aid hair

One of my kids did this years ago - fun and then wash it out. At least that's what is supposed to happen, right? Looks like you two are having some summer fun :-)

Mary: It is supposed to wash out after a few washes...we shall see. It was fun and harmless and Lady K is pleased beyond belief. It's all good.

Jenna: She says maybe....dark blue is in the running.

Too fun! I did that once. Then it rained at the football game and I ended up with Kool Aid shirt!

Becky: *grin* I am hoping that the water games today at Boondocks will only drip onto her BASE shirt.

Fun post Vickie, of course, I have no idea what Cool Aid is. Is it supposed to color hair, or should it be used as something else?
Lady K looks great with it though.

Ginny: Thanks, she wants to be a redhead in the worst way. This is a compromise.

Aurian: Kool-Aid is a drink mix since way back in the day here in the States.
Her hair has dimmed down to pink now, so it's even better for her.

Glad Lady K enjoyed the dye job!!! I use Kool-Aid to dye my wool!! Of course, I add vinegar with it so it doesn't wash out!

Sherri: I didn't know Kool-Aid was so multi-useful.
