JUNE BOOK JOURNAL

And I am back to my default of nine books read in a month.....sigh.....

THE LITTLE SLEEP - Paul Tremblay, TPB, jittery and good
SERPENT GATE - Michael McGarrity, BOT, excellent!
BOOTLEGGER'S DAUGHTER - Margaret Maron, BOCD, superb
THE WATCHER - Jeanne C Stein, MPB, keeper shelf and excellent
GARDEN SPELLS - Sarah Addison Allen, TPB, my favorite book of 2009!
BEST MAN TO DIE - Ruth Rendell, BOCD, darn twisty Brit mystery
GRAVEDIGGERS WANTED: NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - Jeff Strand, TPB, scary-funny horror
WICKED GAME - Jeri Smith-Ready, TPB, keeper shelf, FAB!
WEBMAGE - Kelly McCullough, MPB, good sci-fi/fantasy

Ok, well now I really need to read Garden Spells! I keep picking it up and putting it down and picking it up and putting it down... terrible TBR cycle, I know.

I think 9 books is wonderful! I only read 1 1/2 for June.

Becky: It is a wonderful book! I hesitated, too. It's just the right touch without being smarmy.

Sherri: Sweetie, you were up to your eyeballs in BIZZY!!

Looks like you'll make your goal of 100+ books for the year! Yeah, Garden Spells was a great read. Loved that Apple tree. I liked The Sugar Queen as well. The author has a new one coming in 2010. YAY.
