How We Celebrate Spring Break in Colorado

11.5 inches of snow that started yesterday afternoon and continued through the night...the kind of snow we get in March..that good heavy wet stuff that's sooooo much fun to shovel, but uber fun to make snow angels and sled down the local hills.....That's what Lady K and I did today instead of going to the movies or to the zoo or botanic garden. Still a lot of fun and we can go to those other places any ol' time..the snow won't be here for much longer.

How fun!

I always want to go to the zoo on a snow day just to see the polar bears.

Jenna: I think if we could have gotten there, that would be fun. I always feel for them when it's warm out.

Oh, man! My back still hurts from trying to shovel snow yesterday. Can we just end the snow season already? Wish I could have sledded instead of shoveling!

At the risk of sounding like a curmudgeon, I HOPE the snow won't be around long!!!

Becky: I gave myself the present of sledding after I rested up after the shoveling. It was fun. We have four or five sleds.

Sherri: It's why I love living in Colorado. It's fun to have a young'n here to go sledding with.

Jeanne: Nope, not a curmudgeon, just ready for spring like I am.

You guys are getting all our snow. Skiing was horrible today but we just haven't gotten the snow this year. Colorado as gone a ton though.

RuthAnn: Sorry we've been hoggin' the white schtuff, chickie.
The mountains have received most of the snow, wonderful for the ski peeps and the reservoirs. We have been getting enough, I think.
