Naked to Dressed...Christmas tree that is...

Take one basically naked Noble Fir

Add one table full of 30 years of collecting ornaments

And....ta-da!!!

We don't light our tree since the outlet in the foyer went phhhhht a few years ago. We found that we like it this way. We put lights on the railing and the holiday village pieces have lights, so we haven't gone totally Little House on the Prairie.

Your tree looks beautiful, Vickie. I still need to decorate inside the house. My son and son-in-law helped with the outside lights last week. Temps were in the 50s so we took advantage of that. I have a wreath on the front door too. Guess I'd better get going inside now. Enjoy the season!

Hehe, I just noticed the word verification is redrum!!! Or did you do that on purpose :D

Lovely tree Vickie, very different from the ones here in Holland. Here we mostly have balls, made of glass or other highly breakable stuff. I love a whole silver colored tree, with perhaps a bit of red in it. With garlands and lights too. I mean, a green tree with silver decorations. And my mother used to hang christmas cookies or chocolates in the tree, one for each, but one night the dog at a lot of them and got very sick. So lesson learned, only in the top of the tree ;)
