DH figured a way to get this gorgeous blue salvia to stand up proud and now it can show how it's blooming like crazy. It's so pretty against the ornamental variegated grass

Produce from the veggie garden...tomato varietals and two rogue cucumbers to go with the rogue pumpkins and canteloupes.

And a very friendly wee visitor to the front berm...this little guy came up and checked both Lady K and I out, buzzing in really close, then went back to it's dinner of agastache, Russian sage and lavender. Click on the image to get a close up.

I am so jealous! I just can't seem to get anything to grow (except my little herb garden aerogrow). We did peppers and tomatoes and they've grown tall with no peppers or tomatoes in sight. Agh!
Becky: The tomatoes are only now making a show. The peppers are going nuts. The veggie garden is in the back and faces west, so it gets all the sun it can handle and that helps. It will be better next year with more dirt and compost.
We can't the herbs to grow for anything. If I could have an herb garden up front, I'd be good. That faces east but not sure how the HOA would take us tilling up the front lawn....
Oh! I'd love to see pics of the squirrells getting grapes. I've seen them taunt my friend while eating her strawberries. Just taking a couple bites and leaving it on the vine and going to the next one. Little stinkers. :)

Lovely pics again Vickie, I especially love that hummingbird! That is one species not living in Europe.
