Pumpkin update.....new one on the way....
And one ready to pick....
One of the things I love about living near and working in Boulder, Colorado are mornings like today when I got off of my mid shift and heard the familiar *hiss* of hot air balloons being readied for flight. Above pic, you can see the top of one and sort of another balloon.
Then I watched one.....
Two....
Three.....
Four...four hot air balloons in the bright blue Colorado sky.....ah-ah-ah-ah-aaaaah..(once again, channelling my inner Sesame Street Count)

Are the hot air balloons something that happens on a regular basis? I know we have a hot air balloon event during Rose Festival but I don't know how often they fly otherwise. I enjoy watching them.
Jenna: Once it's warm enough, the balloons are up in the sky, pretty much every day.
That is one of my dreams, going for a balloon ride one day, even though I am very afraid of hights ...
Aurian: I would love to go up in one someday....have to save up a chunk of change first.
