Looks like you had fun at the butterfly pavilion!

What are the first flowers? I was in Chicago yesterday - did quite a bit of walking and noticed some near the sheltered side of a building. I couldn't think of the name *sigh*

I love your crocus picture, not sure what the yellow ones are in the next picture. Looks like Lady K was having fun. That Owl Butterfly really does look like an owls eye-cool!! Thanks for sharing!

Lovely pictures. The second picture is just a yellow crocus, right? They have stopped blooming for over a week now, now it is time for the narcissus to cheer me up with their yellow loveliness.

Mary: I'm not sure which type they are, but they are crocuses. I love when they come up.
We had a great time at the Butterfly Pavilion. We don't go often enough and it's close to the house.

Sherri: The Owl Butterfly was the only one that would sit still. There are so many flying jewels in the air and they light for a little bit and off they go. I had one light on my hair for a bit, but couldn't get the pic in time.
I think the yellow blooms are crocus, too.

Aurian: Thank you. The yellow is crocus, too. I have some narcissus blooming now, too, but I couldn't get a good pic. Maybe next time.
