I Won a Book!!

YIPPPPEEEEE!!! I won this not-yet-released book over on Ann Aguirre's blog! All I did was tell her what I'd 'glamour' about myself if I could do so....

Finders Keepers Monday!

I can't post the image as it was received as a pdf file in an email last week, but I won an e-book of Viola Estrella's ANGEL VINDICATED thanks to a comment I posted on Patricia's Vampire Notes. I am really looking forward to reading this UF about Angels, Inc. an organization made up of three divisions: Demon Control, Guardian Angels, and Angels of Death. The protagonist, Abby, works as a law enforcement Angel for the Demon Control department of Angels, Inc. There appears to be some demon ass kicking and some romance.....

Jeaniene Frost has a Contest....first of five..win an ARC

Jeaniene Frost has a contest going on over at her blog, Frost_Light Journal, the first of five apparently. This one is for the ARC of Vicki Pettersson's fourth in her good vs evil in Vegas (this such a goooood series). The book is out in June, but Vicki is offering up a signed ARC as the prize for Jeaniene's contest!

Amberkatze Interviews Paula Brackston

Amberkatze has her interview with Paula Brackston today. There is a great interview and a contest to win a signed copy of Paula's book BOOK OF SHADOWS. Contest is good through next Sunday, 12 April 2009.

I Won Some More Books!

I won another contest! This time over at BittenByBooks. I won books pictured here by a new to me author, Caitlin Kittredge. I've heard a lot of good things about her and jumped through some of the hoops in big hopes I'd win. And I did. Yay me!

Yippeeee!!!!

The very nifty Jeanne Stein, over at The Biting Edge, had a fun giveaway last week. Really all we fans had to do was comment on the new show, The Dollhouse, Joss Whedon's newest baby and we were put in for the drawing.
I won! The book is dedicated to Joss and it's an anthology of stories of vampires celebrating birthdays....it's a good thing....
Jeanne writes the Anna Strong series that I have fallen for in the very recent past.

Patricia's Vampire Notes has a Contest

Patricia's Vampire Notes has a contest for five lucky winners to win the above two books by Carrie Vaughn. These are her two latest. I've read the first one and it was way jammin'. What's not to like? Werewolf DJ working the night shift in a Denver radio station. The rest of the series follows Kitty during her travels and travails.

Interview and Contest at Amberkatze blog...Maria V Snyder, author

Amberkatze has a new interview and contest this week. Click here for the chance to win the ARC imaged and read the interview with Maria V Snyder, author of POISON STUDY, MAGIC STUDY and FIRE STUDY.

Amberkatze Interviews Yasmine Galenorn

Amberkatze interviewed Yasmine Galenorn on her blog today. Yasmine writes sooo many wonderful books! She has a cozy mystery series called China and Chintz which I found after I started reading her other fab series called The Otherworld-Sisters of the Moon. This is an extremely well written paranormal series with three sisters who are half human and half fae. One is a werecat, one a witch, one a vampire. You have to read the series to get more info and you won't be sorry. It's terrific.
The interview is good, there's a contest to win one of Yasmine's books....click on the link above and give it a shot....

Book Winnin'!

Amberkatze always has such good reviews and interviews with authors of fab paranormal books. A few weeks ago, I visited her site and saw that she had an interview with one of my favorite authors, Shirley Damsgaard. She writes the Ophelia and Abby Mystery series which is a sort of cozy mystery series of a woman, Ophelia, and her grandmother, Abby. Both are good White Magick witches and both work together and with friends to solve mysteries that come their way.
Anyway, I won the 6th (and latest) in the series and a signed copy arrived today in the mail along with two bookmarks! YAY! I can't wait to start it. Thank you Amberkatze and thank you Shirley Damsgaard!!

Amberkatze is at it again...this time with Shirley Damsgaard

Amberkatz has another great interview this week, this time with author Shirley Damsgaard. She writes the fabulous Abby and Ophelia Mystery series. There's the great interview and a chance to wins some of Shirley's books!

My Prizes from Jeanne C Stein and Thank You Mark Henry

Magnets for the fridge of each of Jeanne's books...

A signed copy of LEGACY, her latest book, a signed postcard and an Anna Strong pen! I wonder how Jeanne knew I collect postcards and use them as bookmarks? And that I am a huge freak...er...collector of pens and magnets? Way cool and THANK YOU JEANNE! And thank you Mark for having the interview and chance to win...

I WON A BOOK!!

Thank you, Mark Henry and Jeanne C. Stein (and Sugar), for last week's interview on League of Reluctant Adults and chance to meet you and chat and then to win this book! I like winning and I like good paranormal books...okay I love books, but I especially dig reading well written paranormal mysteries and LEGACY fits the ticket. I think I win a signed copy of the book and a gift card to Amazon so I can pick up the ones of the series I am missing and maybe I'll get Mark's HAPPY HOUR OF THE DAMNED and a Richelle Mead or start my own collection of Kat Richardson.

Time for Another Book Winning!

Go on over to Bitten By Books and see the cool interview with Michele Bardsley, author of the Broken Heart Vampire Series. I love the titles, BECAUSE YOUR VAMPIRE SAID SO and I'M THE VAMPIRE THAT'S WHY among a few other delightful entries. You can win an autographed copy of her latest.

Rachel Interviews Anya Bast Over At Bitten By Books

HEY! Get thee over to Bitten By Books and see the fab interview with paranormal author, Anya Bast. Chance to win a prize if you do.....just sayin'....

Go visit Cafe of Dreams blog at the above link and post a response to maybe win her first book giveaway. I gotta say, though, I really hope to win this for Lady K's library. But if I don't win, I'll be on my way to B&N to pick it up!

I Won a Prize!! I Won a Prize!!

http://thoughtsofjoyblog.blogspot.com/2008/02/first-in-series-give-away-winner.html

Whoo Hoo!!! I won a book from Joy! I joined her super fun First in Series Challenge and I won the February drawing for one of the series books she'd read in the past, or BB, Before Blogging ( I think this is getting added to the dictionary). She posts that it is not a typical series style, but series nevertheless.

I'd added this to my wishlist to buy immediately after my self-imposed no book buying time-out ends. And now something else gets moved up the list ladder.

I won a boo-ook...I won a boo-ook....
